The Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG) is a transnational body comprised of nuclear supplier countries that aim to control the proliferation of nuclear weapons by curbing the export of nuclear weapons development materials and related technology. Currently, India is not a member of the NSG, and the committee will deliberate on the reasons behind that, as well as the possible merits of India's acceptance into the group. The second agenda of the committee will be deliberation on restrictions imposed upon Uranium trade,owing to its use in construction of nuclear weaponry.
