ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
LOTUSMUN is a global platform for beginning and intermediate Model United Nations enthusiasts to hone their skills of diplomacy, public speaking, and critical thinking.It was first hosted in 2011, LotusMun'23 has been a pioneer in the MUN circuit, both online and offline, and has paved the way and set an example for conferences.With immense pride, we announce that one of the most prestigious MUNs in Delhi NCR is now back as LotusMun'23: Ambassadors of Hope. Besides being an excellent opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions and forge new connections, the numerous cultural activities that LOTUSMUN23 includes will make the event even more unforgettable.
VISION AND MISSION
LOTUSMUN’23: AMBASSADORS OF HOPE aims at bringing the cathartic campaigners for peace and sustainability together at one platform with a vision to create a better world for all. It is the perfect rostrum for heroes across the globe who aims at helping in the preservation of land and environment to discuss, deliberate and come up with solutions to all the pressing problems of the world so that there be balance in the space and sky, peace on the earth and bliss in the environment. The conference aspires to inspire the delegates to foster egalitarian culture and entrust them with more responsibility to create balance in everything and let there be peace and harmony!

We are not sure how things will unfold in near future but one thing is for sure: the scale, scope and complexity of the economic and social and political conflict of interests is so strong that no one nation, government, civil society or academia can manage alone the catastrophic effects of conflicting ideals and unresolved antagonism among different nations. LotusMUN’23: Ambassabors of Hope aims to bring young leaders across the globe together to engage in resolving conflicting issues and overcome the challenges to tread the path of harmony and tranquility.ALL THE BEST!

LotusMUN'23: AMBASSADORS OF HOPE is an unprecedented stage for young leaders across the globe where they get the opportunity to consider, “what can we do?” It gives them the perfect channel to strengthen in creating sociopolitical responses to environmental changes. It aims to inspire young delegates to identify and discuss the eco-social changes affecting various communities across the world and to evolve the resilience mechanisms that can help the various communities to effectively deal with disturbances. My earnest appeal and a clarion call to all the young brigades around the world is to “be the change” and get engaged in evolving strategies through dialogue during the course of the conference which may be the best choice for moving everyone forward for peace and sustainability and leaving no one behind.

Young people have unique potential, as well as the energy, enthusiasm, optimism, and creativity to collaboratively seek solutions to complex and costly challenges. Being involved in LotusMUN’23: Ambassadors of Hope provides an important sense of validation and empowerment regarding their own potential in bringing positive change in this world. I believe that young people understand how power and systems work, it is easy for them to come to an agreeable solutions or agreement through dialogue. Engaging them in this conference serves several purposes, not only to give them platform to express their views on pressing issues concerning the humanity, but also to prepare a new generation of potential leaders. LotusMUN'23: Ambassadors of Hope is an attempt by the cathartic campaigners of peace and sustainability to bring peace revolution across the globe. Peace revolution is a multi-dimensional process and the central goal of the entire process is to make, build and sustain peace with oneself, the environment, and the society at large. As the faculty advisor, I am proud to present a team of young Lotusians who understand the idea of a revolutionary peacemaking approach and offer the entire international education industry a look at a peacemaking revolution as a consensus building process, which involves key issues concerning the international communities in a multi-dimensional negotiating process.

It is my distinct pleasure to become the MUN coordinator for LotusMUN'23. The opportunity provided by our Director-Principal, Ms. Anita Malhotra, to assist my HOD, Ms. Sanchana Srivastava, has broadened my vision as a mentor.
